How the adviser works, and what it will not do
- It is an automated information tool that uses artificial intelligence. You are not talking to a person.
- It is not a substitute for veterinary care. It does not diagnose, it does not prescribe, and it cannot examine your animal.
- Every number it gives you about food quantity, weight or a due date is calculated in ordinary code from published veterinary guidance. The language model writes the sentence around the number. It is never allowed to work the number out.
- If your message describes a symptom, the adviser stops before it reaches the model at all. You get a vet, not an opinion.
- Your pet's details go to the model. Your name, your email, your phone number and your exact location do not, ever.
